  • dition Tanzania coffee for the Original Line machines: https://alvinbunk.wordpress.com/2025/12/17/nespresso-tanzania/ Honestly it's just so so! I usually prefer coffees with a lot of character, and this one doesn't really have much.

Common questions

What is the intensity of Tanzania?

Tanzania has an intensity of 5 on the manufacturer's scale and is intended for a Espresso (40 ml) cup size.

Which machines does Tanzania fit?

Tanzania is an Original-line capsule and fits Original machines. It does not fit Vertuo machines, which use a different capsule shape. The official store also sells a Vertuo capsule under the name Tanzania. They are different products with the same name, so check which line a pack is for before buying: this page covers the Original one.

Is Tanzania a capsule or a coffee pod?

Both words describe the same thing. The manufacturer calls them capsules, and English-language stores also say coffee pods; Tanzania is one sealed portion of ground coffee either way. This site says "capsule" throughout only for consistency — searching for "Tanzania pods" and "Tanzania capsules" will find the same coffee.

What does Tanzania taste like?

The published flavour notes for Tanzania are blueberry, cereal, citrus, dried cereals, fruity, red fruit.

What cup size is Tanzania brewed at?

Storefronts list Tanzania at more than one size: Espresso (40 ml), Double Espresso (80 ml), Lungo (110 ml).

When was Tanzania on sale?

We recorded Tanzania on sale between 2025 and 2026. Years without a record are shown as gaps; they mean our covered sources did not confirm a sale, not that absence in every country is proven.

What is similar to Tanzania?

The closest matches we hold are Arabica Ethiopia Harrar Original, Variations Orangette, Variations Liquorice, scored on cup size, flavour notes, intensity and the published sensory profile.

Has Tanzania been sold under another name?

Yes. Tanzania has also been sold as Samra Origins Tanzania.

Can you still buy Tanzania?

Tanzania is no longer sold in any market we track; it was last seen on 13 May 2026. Remaining stock sometimes appears on marketplace resellers.
